CATERING SUPPORT COURSE

QQI Level 4

Are you aged between 18 -35 and in receipt of a Social Welfare payment?  Why not consider a career in Catering?

Applications are now being accepted for a free full-time training course in Catering Support which begins in September 2018 in the Further Education Centre, Mountmellick.

Dates: September 2018 – April 2019

Time: Monday – Friday 9.30am – 4pm (half day Friday)

The course contains the following modules:

Short Order Cooking, Kitchen Skills, Meal Service, Customer Service, Team-working, Work Experience, Personal Effectiveness, Communications.

Participants can also avail of an organised Work Placement, HACCP training, Barista training and Fire Safety Training.

Note: Eligible participants may also qualify for a training allowance.
