Stradbally Community Allotments set up in June 2012 to encourage the local community to grow their own produce.

Laois Partnership supported the project by providing funding (via the Rural Development Programme) to lay out the garden the to erect the perimeter fencing.

Ongoing support to maintain and develop the garden is provided by the Tus work programme which is also administered by Laois Partnership.
