Port’s Vision 2020: Free Workshops to Start and Grow Your Business

Port Vision FlyerThe Portarlington Community Development Association has embarked on an exciting project to establish a 10-year Plan and Vision for the town. The goal of this project is to lay the foundation for Portarlington’s sustainable and vibrant future with employment and community development at its heart!

The initiative continues on the 20th and 21st June with a series of workshops which will provide guidance for new business start ups as well as for existing businesses looking to develop and adapt to the current business environment.

The workshops will provide an opportunity to pick up valuable ideas and advice, get the practical tools you need to develop new business ideas, and  hear from local entrepreneurs who have developed their own businesses.logo

Many of the the relevant business support agencies will also be on hand to answer your questions. The current line up includes:  Laois Partnership, Offaly Local Development, Portarlington Jobs Club, Port Credit Union, Bord na Mona, Laois Adult Education, FAS, DSF Jobs Facilitator, Laois and Offaly County Council……

These free workshops are open to the general but are specifically specifically targeted at:

Potential entrepreneurs, early stage companies,  and established businesses in Portlarlington and surrounding areas.
