personal alarms
For elderly people living alone or in isolated areas, peace of mind can be assured by having to hand a personal alarm with which they can signal for help in any form of emergency.
LSTEP is registered with Pobal to make applications for personal alarms on behalf of older people, and we are contracted by Care Direct to install these personal alarms in the homes of individuals who need them.
We always maintain a stock of alarms and can offer a quick turnaround from application to installation; on occasion, we have even installed on the same day as the application was processed, which can be beneficial for individuals who may be very ill or coming home from hospital after a long illness.
