Repair and Maintenance Service

LSTEP undertakes minor home maintenance repairs such as painting, gardening, gutter cleaning, removal of rubbish and recycling.

Whatever the weather, we provide and maintain our outdoor services to undertake all maintenance work required by older people in their homes, keeping them in a home that is suitable for an older person.

When older people are living in a two-story dwelling, they may need an additional stair handrail. The handrail that we install for older people is a lot smaller than the standard one fitted to a staircase, which offers an advantage to individuals with a hand disability to use their stairs with safety and confidence once more.

We also install grab rails to support and overcome mobility issues experienced by the individual in their bathrooms and doorways, where steps can be an obstacle.

LSTEP has a decorator who provides a decorating service for older people, which is affordable to individuals on a low income.
