The SICAP department of Laois Partnership Company recently organised a guided tour of Ballintubbert Gardens & House for members of Rathdowney Tidy Towns, the Men’s Shed, and the community garden. Arranged by Community Workers Cassia O’Neill and Orla Brennan as a reward to the groups for their efforts in enhancing their community, a great day was had by all as head gardener Jennifer showed them the beautiful organic ornamental gardens while telling them all about biodiversity and sustainability.
